| Our delicious prize-winning wildflower honey. Color and flavor varies, depending on which plants produce an abundance of nectar in any given year. Typically our wildflower honey is either light amber or amber in color, and mild-flavored. All Gooserock Farm honey is raw (unheated) and minimally filtered. Expect it to crystallize (solidify) faster than store-bought commercial honey. This absolutely does not affect the quality or flavor of the honey, but if you prefer it liquid, heat in a pan of hot water VERY GENTLY so as not to burn the honey, until it liquifies. This is the same honey that took FIRST PLACE in the Light Amber class at the 2008 NJ Beekeepers Association Honey Show. Best honey in NJ!. |
